We want everyone to be able to shop The Painted Wolves, browse the designs and make something personal for the people they love. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers, voice control or any other assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across thepaintedwolves.com. Accessibility is part of how we build every page and product listing, not a one-time project.
What we've done
- Keyboard navigation. Menus, product options, personalization fields and the cart can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline so you can see where you are.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, we tone down or switch off animations.
- Pause controls. Slideshows, videos and other moving content come with a way to pause or stop them.
- Alt text. Product photos and graphics carry text descriptions so screen reader users know what they show.
- Color contrast. We check text and buttons against WCAG contrast ratios so they stay readable.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site come from third parties, including Shopify checkout, payment providers, the product personalizer and other apps. We choose partners who take accessibility seriously, but we can't fully control their code. If one of these gets in your way, tell us and we'll help you finish your order another way.
